CURRENT STARTING XI (WITH LATEST TRANSFERS)

First let's talking about the latest transfers I've made during the summer transfer window.

First off, I've sold some players to generate some cash, including the surprise transfer of Jordan Henderson to Juventus for £8million. He was only valued at around £4million, then I counter-offered for 8 and Juve took the deal! Almost managed to sell Reina for £15million and Agger for £14million but both broke-down. Some other players I sold included Suso and Dani Pacheco.

Then I noticed that Liverpool lacks in striking force up front! With only Borini and Suarez, youngsters Morgan and Yesil, on-loan to Westham Carroll, I was running out of options. I had to bring in strikers. So I got Gaston Ramirez from Southampton for £9million + Joe Cole, and Rodrigo from Benfica for £15million. Both are young players with a potential of around 86-88. Now waiting for the January transfer window to be open and get in more players and get extra funds from the board.

So here's the current starting XI I'm using for Liverpool FC. So I've tried the 4-3-3 with Liverpool and it kinda didn't work but when using the classic 4-4-2, it work wonders! So 4-4-2 is my current formation. As some of you may notice, Nuri Sahin is not in my starting XI. Mainly because he's just on loan and I want my own players to get more game time. But he is on the bench to bring on anytime he's needed.

So, after playing 14 games, here's how the table stands. It wasn't easy but Liverpool's on top! Surprised to see Swansea City in third....

FINALLY PLAYED FIFA13! FRIENDLIES (PART 1)

Just played my first two friendlies with Liverpool! Draw at home again Osasuna 1-1 (Assaidi managed to head-in a cross by Enrique to get the draw after the visitor's hits home) and won away to Fiorentina 1-3 (Home side scores first after a mix up in defence but manage to hit back with Suarez bagging a brace and a simple tap in by Borini to seal the win for the Reds). Has yet to sign any players but manage to snatch up 2 500k free agents, and sold some young players (including Suso).

So I've been thinking for awhile about the starting formation for Liverpool. So far this is what I've come up with.

I went with my favorite formation, since I'm a Chelsea fan, is the 4-3-3 with 2 wide wingers. So overall I think I have a solid team.. But needs more work obviously. So do stay tune!

P/s: The game FIFA13 just release today! So do get your copy if it is available near you! I can't yet cause Malaysia might take some time. HAHA.

TRANSFER TARGETS

So these are some of the players I'm looking at to bring to Liverpool in the first season. Since Liverpool might have quite a low budget so there might not be a major star signing (yet!) for the first two season, but we'll get there! For the first transfer window, I'm looking for a back-up left-back or if possible get someone better. I'm also looking a a winger, either on the right or left as I see some lack in the winger department. Since Liverpool might only have a budget of £16 million so I might only can bring a max. of 2 players. So if I get a left-back and a winger is awesome for now.

So in no particular order, here's the targets!

1. Leighton Baines (Everton) OVR: 80 POT: 82

So first up is Baines, who is a left-back who plays for Everton. So I'm looking for a replacement or prehaps a back-up for Enrique if he gets injured or needs to be rested. So with Baines, he can be both! He may cost less than £8 million but the downside is he'll only grow to 82 overall but I just keep him in my shortlist as a back-up.

2. Marcelo Vieira (Real Madrid) OVR: 83 POT: 85

Up next is the Brazilian Marcelo of Real Madrid. He plays as a left-back or a left midfielder so that's always good to have. He is rated 83 in the game and will grow to 85, so he is a better choice. As if I'm not mistaken he as a price tag of about £7 million so that is super cheap for some of his class. So might get him instead of Baines but we'll see.

3. Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea) OVR: 78 POT: 84

Then we have Sturridge, who plays for Chelsea. A right winger but I guess can play down both flanks. I'm not sure about his price but he might just be as a fill-in for Borini/Downing when needed.

4. Balázs Dzsudzsák (Dynamo Moscow) OVR: 81 POT: 85

I bet most of you have not heard of Dzsudzsák before right? So did I. Until I watch a FIFA13 video on YouTube. Based on the video, he is only £8 million! So an obvious bargain with a potential of 85. A good buy I might say. He plays for Dynamo Moscow as a left winger.

5. Iker Muniain (Athletic Bilbao) OVR: 80 POT: 85

Next, we have the Spanish wizard Muniain. So he plays for Athletic Bilbao as a winger, quite costly I presume, maybe around £11 million? But he has good stats and can grow up to 85 overall.

LIVERPOOL FC IT IS.

So I've decided not to use my favorite club Chelsea FC to start off FIFA13, but I'm going to use Liverpool FC instead!

 To be honest, the main reason I'm choosing Liverpool is because they are actually a very good team with outstanding history, but apparently they seems to be way of the line in the Premier League at the moment. So, I'm going to try and bring Liverpool back to their former glory! Yeah!

 I'm going to bring players in and out to make them the best team I can make them. So here's the pre-released stats about Liverpool. I don't know how accuarate it will be in the real game but at least I'll have a rough idea of the players I'll get, what transfer budget I'm getting and so on.

So in the next post I'll be sharing my possible formation and players on the starting XI and maybe try to come up with some transfer targets too! If you have any ideas on who I should bring in, just leave a comment below or just tweet me. :)

Hey all! I'm decided to take FIFA13 to the next level by making a blog about the career mode I'll be playing. So I'll be posting about my players, formations, transfers, results and so on! But I won't be posting everyday so bare with me. So I'll start as soon as I get my hands on the game! :)
